Exigo ISO-Lateral Incline Chest Press
A plate-loaded strength machine from Exigo, the ISO-Lateral Incline Chest Press offers superb build quality and durability. Thanks to the ISO Lateral technology , it also helps prevent injury due to using the biomechanically correct arcs of motion. The sitting position is perfect and uses a high density foam seat that is fully adjustable for height. Handles for each arm are positioned nicely with a slight angle inwards for ease and ergonomics. The machine is also very stable thanks to the design and wide footprint.
The Exigo ISO-Lateral Incline Chest Press is a tried and tested strength machine. Working those upper pecs, the ISO Lateral used for the action reduces stress on your joints and mimics the arcs of motion you would use naturally. With angled handles and plate loading you can select exactly the weight you want to lift, and if need be put different weights on each side of the arms.
Exigo build each machine to order and so this means a longer lead time - typically around 4-6 weeks. You can however choose from the different frame and upholstery colour options below.
Why Choose An Incline Chest Press?
The incline chest press is a great exercise to perform as many refer to it as 'the honest one'. Why? Basically the incline prevents you from bridging or arching your back to help with the lifting of the weight. This means you need the pure strength to perform the exercise rather than cheating your way to a lift!
The incline angle also means the lift is "softer" on the lower back and so better for you if you do have back problems. The incline press works mostly your clavicular pecs (they originate from the anterior surface of the medial half of clavicle) instead of the Sternocostal head. You will also produce a good work load for your delts and triceps.
