Olympic weights are the industry standard for strength training in home, commercial, and college gyms. Designed with a 2-inch (50mm) centre hole, they fit Olympic barbells, weight trees, and most plate-loaded gym equipment. This differs from standard weight plates, which have a smaller 25mm centre hole and are only compatible with standard bars.

Olympic weights in a range of finishes

Olympic bumper plates can come in a number of finishes, including rubber, PU (polyurethane), or cast iron. The advantage of both rubber and PU weight plates is that they protect gym floors, produce less noise, and are protected against rust. Urethane plates, which are the most durable of all plates, have an anti-scratch property and also offer good grip.
