Who Are Pavigym?

Pavigym is a global flooring company headquartered in Alicante, Spain. The business has 6 satellite offices throughout the world and currently provides flooring in 93 countries. The company has been around for 55 years and started in 1963 producing athletic shoes for the likes of Nike and Reebok before deciding to specialise in the gym flooring market in 1996.

The development of its flooring products has developed hugely from the highly engineered flooring in 1996 to the offerings today which include markings, embedded sensors and LED lights for functional training.

Pavigym Flooring Products

There are a wide range of flooring solutions to cover all your needs for both home and commercial gyms, here we summarise the main offerings.

Extreme and Extreme S&S

Extreme flooring is for strength and cardio work. It offers super high impact for maximum absorption and resistance. The surface is smooth, is easy to clean and anti-slip with an easy fitting interlocking system.

Extreme S&S is the more heavyweight version, with great noise reduction and vibration qualities. It offers 22m thickness which protects your subfloor and can cope with falls of up to 150kg so great for your heavyweight area. These floorings can all be personalised with different colours, logos and can come with functional markings.

Endurance and Endurance S&S

Endurance is for strength areas and free weights up to 30kg. The reinforced coating provides resistance and amazing density providing six times the resistance of recycled rubber. You will also get great noise reduction and anti-slip properties.

Endurance S&S adds 22 mm on the top layer so that it can cope wit the impact of up to 150kg. It has anti slip properties and acoustic insulation up to 21db by itself. Different colour ranges are available and functional markings.

Motion

This flooring is for all group activities including the likes of aerobics and body pump. It offers great mobility and will protect your users’ joints; in fact they say that injuries can be reduced by up to 80% compared to traditional gym floorings by adding in the rubber bottom layer and air. A floor that is simply great for jumping and moving on.

Performance

Performance is for your cardio machines. It reduces noise and vibration, and you can move your machines as much as you like, and you won’t suffer from unsightly machine marks. It provides six times the resistance than recycled rubber, is anti-slip and available in a range of 13 vibrant colours.

Turf

Turf is for indoor and outdoor use and as the name suggests is the grass look flooring. With 83000 stiches per m2, 22m thickness and weight of 6500g per m2  it offers superb grip for any workouts. It will cope with you pulling sleds, dumbbells and with no sand and low ‘hair’ it is more comfortable than even natural turf. For outside use it is also important to note it offers UV resistance.

Traffic

This is the offering for transit areas, for corridors, changing rooms, receptions, offices. The wood style look is anti-slip, easy to clean, with great sound reduction.  The 0.55PU wear layer means it is exceptionally resistant to impact and scratches. The reinforced glass fibre offers 100% stability and as the floor is available in planks, sections of it are easily replaceable.

Additional Flooring

In addition to the above there are acoustic flooring options if sound is your main issue, with flooring that deals with airborne noise, structure born noise and impact noise. There are also a range of gym mats which are non-allergenic, with great functionality and very easy to clean.

In addition there are specialised weightlifting and x training flooring developed with professional weightlifters, 22m thick and able to resist weights up to 150kg, a great alternative to wood.
