Air Products Corporate HQ Gym

Air Products Plc were relocating to a new head office in Surrey and needed to create a new corporate gym for employees. We were asked to design a gym in the space they had selected, that offered the best overall soplution to cater for everyone. Providing guidance on a range of cardio and strength gym equipment, they wanted only premium brands with an after-sales service package that was "the best".
Scoping
Air Products wanted to work with internal focus groups to define exactly what staff needed and wanted in a new gym. During the whole process GymEquipment.co.uk supported and advised on the criteria that best covered their key requirements. From brands; console options; key muscle groups; dual vs single strength machines; and variety of equipment along with inclusiveness for all ages, abilities and experience. This was also matched to overall quality and durability.
Initial Brief
At the end of the scoping stage, we took all the feedback, consolidated and then presented a range of design layouts, quotes with the key brands that had been selected. We also created simple comparison tables and documentation to show all the relevant information needed to make a final decision.
The 105m2 gym required a high specification and also needed careful and consistent project management to ensure all was delivered and installed to a tight timeline.

The outcome
Post-installation, the new employee gym has been really well-received both with the UK employees and management and visiting US teams. The gym is stylish, professional and has encouraged employees to work out thanks to an open plan layout, easy-to-use and less intimidating equipment throughout. The gym has been extremely valuable asset to the company.
