This Spirit Dual Abduction / Adduction machine is really easy to use and comes with a very good weight stack (115kg) making it accessible to all levels of user. Using the Abductor / Adductor Machine

Often overlooked, by training the adductor and abductor muscles, you can help to reduce pain in your hips, knees, ankles, whilst building strength and stamina for walking, climbing and most sports. As a small group of muscles, your abductors are located on the outside of your thighs and include the gluteus medius, tensor fascia lata (TFL) and sartorius. The point of them is to provide stability and help to spread your legs and push your hips out.

The opposite adductor muscles are in your groin and inner thigh and their purpose is to help bring your legs together. Your adductor muscles include the brevis, longus, and magnus. Both sets of abductors and adductors should work together to provide the stability and balance - hence the dual machine being a wise buy.
