Schwinn AC Sport - Quantum Silver

This new and improved Schwinn AC Sport Indoor Bike comes in Quantum Silver frame and now as standard with the Carbon Blue durable drive train. The Schwinn focus on enhanced ergonomics, build quality and of course rider experience is evident with this mid-range indoor cycle. The zinc-plated stainless steel frame and adjustable handlebars and seat position, you can get into the most comfortable position for your indoor ride. And with performance in mind, the "Virtual Contact Resistance" on the flywheel actually helps to protect your knees from injury.

Schwinn took huge amounts of feedback from cyclists, trainers and professionals on how to improve their indoor bikes. The Schwinn AC Sport therefore has the new belt-based drive system - Carbon Blue - as part of that engagement. By combining a belt that is both maintenance-free and durable yet feels like a chain, the Carbon Blue is a carbon fibre reinforced belt with teeth. This ensures it will be reliable as well as delivering an authentic riding experience.

The AC Sport

Whether you're a studio in a commercial set-up or wanting performance when you're training at home, the latest Schwinn AC Sport with Carbon Blue drivetrain offers the serious rider a superb platform on which you can train. From its stability through hill climbing to the comfort of a high cadence flat-out ride thanks to the adjustable seat and handlebars, you can choose whatever intensity you want, and the AC Sport won't let you down. Their frame provides rigidity for this indoor cycle. This allows more of your energy to flow down through the pedals and, thanks to the carbon belt, through to the flywheel. Ensuring the frame gives you stability is vital during steep uphill climbs or when you are exerting maximum power and torque through the pedals.

Your position on the bike is paramount to the effectiveness of your workout. The handlebars and seat have been designed to ensure you can move all the settings to suit your size and preferred riding position. With three position fore-aft adjustment, this bike is perfect for everyone from 4'11" to 6'8" height. Holding your feet on the pedals, you have a choice of SPD/toe-clip pedals as standard. You can also upgrade to the Schwinn Triple Link™ pedal option, giving you Look Delta pedal compatibility also.
