The Hammer Strength Hip Adduction machine allows you to work the inner thigh muscles, namely the adductor brevis, adductor longus, adductor magnus, pectineus and gracilis. The key here is that no single muscle works alone. It is important as hip adduction will involve moving your leg toward and across the centre of your body for certain activities and sports. To use the Hammer Strength Select SE Full Hip Adduction machine, settle yourself in the fully adjustable seat, open your legs and place the pads on the inside of the knee. Then adjust the ratchet so the pads are as narrow or wide as you require, and then simply bring your legs together against the pads to close together. The aduction resistance all comes from the selectorised 138kg weight stack and the ratchet mechanism allows exercisers to adjust in 10-degree increments.
