Physical Wall Balls

For strength, co-ordination and abdominal flexibility, these Physical Wall Balls are great for beginners and intermediates alike. Use your muscles to propel/throw the weighted wall ball vertically, then use different muscles when you need to catch the returning ball.

The Physical Wall Balls have a vinyl cover that is not only tough, but feels soft. With a little give and the fixed 350mm diameter regardless of weight, the design ensures they maintain that diameter which helps with the biomechanics of 'throwing' as well as being easy to catch and throw. We have 10 sizes in all that are available.

Functional Exercising

Great for personal trainers, home gyms and of course fitness clubs, to get wall balls to work you just need a solid wall or a target either 9' or 10' up. Squat, rise, throw and catch and then repeat. Sounds easy for the first 20. Weighting the balls, introducing a small squat at the start and finish of the exercise and changing the speed of the throw you can make life easier or more difficult.

Wall balls have proven a great accessory for crossfit, circuit classes, rotation exercises and also benefit from all the associated exercises like squats or small jumps. As you become more experienced and more comfortable with the ball think of how you can develop your strength and increase power from the action of throwing and catching. Add into that some slight rotation and you have a core workout too. Finally, it's a great way to work multiple muscles from the same simple exercise.
