Fitting any Olympic bar sleeve thanks to the 50mm / 2" diameter centre hole, they are made from high quality rubber and have been stress tested to the max to ensure th equality. Buying these Hammer Strength Bumper Plates means you get the stainless steel insert, pressed, and flared to resist wear and tear when loading and unloading on Olympic bars. They also have a fixed diameter for all weights of 450mm.

Choosing Bumper Plates

With varying widths, bumper plate diameters should always be the same - 450mm. This provides the perfect strength discs for your gym and for clearance when using your Olympic bar. With a black rubber finish, look for a a stainless steel insert that's pressed and flared which will help prevent catching the bar as you lift on and off the bar.

The other consideration for choosing which bumper plates you want is whether you want to go all black - or IWF weightlifting colour scheme which is Red is for the 25kg plate and blue for the 20kg plate. Yellow is for the 15kg plate and Green is for the 10kg plate. Some sets also come with 5kg training plates - which would usually be black or a dark grey.
