The Cybex Bravo Advanced Tall Functional Trainer provides a superb cable and strength machine for homes and commercial gyms. By having both selectorised and cable-based strength training with a Progressive Stabilization Pad, you can adjust the amount of stabilisation you want when doing exercises.

The Bravo allows you to work your upper and lower body with hundreds of different exercises, meaning you can isolate muscle groups with ease. The Bravo Tall comes with a 77kg weight stack and 2:1 configuration as standard. There is also the option of a 4:1 ratio for the light stack or a heavier 147kg stack with a 4:1 configuration for sports performance and rehabilitation.

What Is Progressive Stabilisation?

The progressive pad is designed to allow you to increase or decrease the level of stablisation you require for an exercise. You are able to adjust the height and/or horizontal position of the pad.

Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced gym user, choosing how much stability you want to help you with the exercise a great way to try a wide range of exercises you may not have tried. Depending on the amount of stabilisation you want, you can set up the Bravo like a pure functional trainer or like a more traditional dual adjustable pulley.

Choosing a half way house like partial stability means you can increase the difficulty of some exercises as much as you require. This can help you progress with your training.
