Primal Strength 40mm EPDM Premium Gym Tile - 1m x 0.5m

An industry-leading floor tile, these 40mm EPDM premium gym tiles are perfect for any fitness facility. The tiles come in 1m x 0.5m sizes and are made up of two layers; a high-impact 37mm SBR and a 3mm premium EPDM smooth top layer. The tiles interlock using sunken plastic connectors underneath to ensure there is no movement. This results in a stunning and long lasting gym floor.

The Primal Strength 40mm EPDM premium gym tiles come in black with a light grey fleck and can be completed with a black bonded edge tile to ensure there are no trip hazards. This tile is also available in a 20mm thickness if heavy weights aren't being dropped.

What is the tile made from?

EPDM rubber (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer rubber) is a high-density synthetic rubber primarily used in high intensity training zones in gyms. It is heat resistant, extremely hard wearing with a clean smooth finish.

Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) is derived from styrene and butadiene. These materials have good abrasion resistance and good aging stability when bonded, offering the perfect gym floor material for dropping weights.

The Primal Strength 40mm EPDM premium gym tiles are backed by a full commercial 5-year warranty so you have the reassurance that they will last. Once the matting is laid please mop it with hot water to remove the silicone layer and leave the matting to dry before placing items on top. The matting is very hard wearing and only needs to be cleaned with warm soapy water.
